Defend-er is a multi-ingredient supplement containing i.a. zinc helps in the proper functioning of the immune system.

The Defend-er composition includes ingredients that comprehensively support resting, exercise and immunity metabolism. Human immunity determines many parameters of the organism’s functioning, including proper protection against oxidation processes.

The changes that take place in the body during physical activity lead to an increased production of free radicals, and their overproduction causes oxidative stress. It is associated with the increased consumption of oxygen during exercise. Oxidizing agents can cause chronic fatigue, decreased immunity and decreased ability to exercise. DEFEND-ER includes, inter alia, zinc helps to protect cells from oxidative stress.

• Inosine

It is a chemical compound that is, among others, precursor of ATP, which is the basic energy unit necessary in any metabolic process.

• CLA

It is an omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid, which is an isomer of linoleic acid. CLA blocks the enzyme protein lipase in adipose tissue, which is responsible for the synthesis of new fat cells. For this reason, CLA can be used to support diets aimed at reducing body fat.

CLA has a wide range of effects, especially in reducing the effects of oxidative stress. Considering the fact that stress is a natural part of human life today, protection against oxidative stress becomes an important pillar of supporting immunity.

• Lysine amino acid

It belongs to the exogenous amino acids, i.e. those that the human body cannot synthesize on its own. Therefore, in order to maintain the body’s nitrogen balance, its source should be the diet. In the event of improperly balanced nutrition, the diet may be supported by the use of appropriate supplements.

In addition, it is necessary for the production of carnitine, which is necessary for the use of fat for energy purposes.

• Histidine

It belongs to the relatively essential amino acids. This means that the body is able to produce it on its own, but under certain circumstances, such as intensified growth processes in children or intensive post-workout regeneration, own production may be insufficient. Then it is worth including food products in the diet that are the source of this amino acid or support it with appropriate dietary supplements.

Histidine is a component of peptides important for the functioning of the body, such as: carnosine, anserine, which are e.g. very involved in antioxidant processes.

• Naringenin

It is a substance belonging to the group of flavonoid compounds that exhibit, among others, antioxidant effect. Grapefruit is characterized by a high concentration of naringenin, which gives it its bitter taste.

• Zinc

A daily dose of Defend-er (2 capsules) also contains 10 mg of zinc, which helps protect cells against oxidative stress, which, among other sources of stress, is a challenge for human immunity.

Today we are aware that supporting immunity cannot be limited to putting on a warm hat in winter. Supporting immunity should be a multifaceted support for the human body, which takes place by: balancing the daily diet, taking care of physical activity, avoiding stress – and this was what we were guided by when composing the Defend-er composition.

USAGE
