When are Rösch glycerin suppositories used?
Glycerin suppositories Rösch regulate bowel movements when easier bowel movements are especially desired: for example, with hemorrhoids, long-term bed rest, elderly people and children, after operations, straining during bowel movements, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding, when no other means are used.
Glycerin suppositories Rösch have a physical hydrophilic effect, which stimulates the rectal mucosa to secrete water, making the thickened contents slippery.
When using Rösch glycerin suppositories, the simultaneously increasing volume causes a voiding reflex after a short time.
