INSTANT EXTREME BCAA+ – a fast-dissolving BCAA powder product with an 8:1:1 amino acid ratio, containing L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine, as well as vitamins B1, B6, B2, B12, and folic acid.
L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine are three of the eight essential amino acids that the body cannot synthesize and must obtain through diet or supplementation. These amino acids are branched-chain, thus referred to as BCAAs. They can be metabolized in the muscles, not just the liver, and are used directly to repair damaged muscle fibers, speeding up recovery time. Muscle proteins are particularly rich in BCAAs, with 35% of these amino acids found in the muscles, making BCAA intake after intense physical activity highly beneficial for muscle fiber recovery.
Why an 8:1:1 ratio? This ratio means that there is eight times more L-Leucine than L-Valine and L-Isoleucine. Leucine is responsible for activating protein synthesis and has anti-catabolic properties, which reduce muscle catabolism and promote faster recovery after physical exertion. Leucine also acts as an anabolic agent, increasing growth hormone (GH) levels and regulating protein turnover in the liver, reducing ammonia production.
BCAAs also help maintain testosterone levels and reduce cortisol levels, creating an anabolic balance that supports muscle mass development. Additionally, BCAAs compete with tryptophan, thus reducing serotonin synthesis, which contributes to feelings of fatigue. This makes BCAAs useful before, during, and after physical activity, whether aerobic, anaerobic, or mixed.
Vitamins B1 and B6 have been added to optimize amino acid absorption and effectiveness. Vitamin B6 supports normal protein and glycogen metabolism, reduces fatigue, and vitamin B1 helps maintain normal energy metabolism.
Usage: Recommended to take 1 scoop (6 g) per day, dissolved in 100-150 ml of water, preferably before or after a workout.
