What is cyclic dextrin?

Cyclic dextrin, specifically highly branched cyclic dextrin (HBCD), is a complex carbohydrate created from amylopectin by fermentation. Its unique chemical structure gives it a low osmolality, allowing it to pass through the stomach quickly, reducing digestive discomfort and providing a steady supply of energy. This makes HBCD an excellent choice before or during exercise, when it is important to maintain endurance and avoid fluctuations in blood glucose levels. Scientific studies show that highly branched cyclic dextrins promote faster glycogen resynthesis after exercise, making them ideal for strength and endurance sports.

Consumption

Mix 1 scoop (30 g) with 300 ml of cold water 30 minutes before physical activity. For longer activities or training lasting more than 2 hours, it is recommended to take another dose. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
